Alexis Bomer

Alexis is a dancer, choreographer, and instructor from the Pittsburgh area. She grew up in the competition circuit and being trained in many styles of dance. Alexis started working professionally at age 15 with Mid-Atlantic Contemporary Ballet Company, and a year later became a part of Millennium Dance Complex’s the Company for its first two years. Through these companies she had the opportunity to work with numerous choreographers and travel to partake in various performances. Alexis’s choreography has been featured in multiple showcases including Millennium Dance Complex’s “Ascendance”, The Andy Warhol Museum’s “Of Ordinary Things”, Texture Ballet Company’s “WIP: Choreography Showcase”, and won Intrigue Dance Intensive’s young choreographers competition. Now a member of Firewall Dance Theater as well as an instructor for Destella Dance Centre and Millennium, Alexis hopes to continue growing as a performer and help other dancers further themselves.
