Tara Madsen Robbins

Tara Madsen Robbins is a professional performer, choreographer, and educator based in Philadelphia. She earned her MFA in Performance & Choreography from Smith College as well as her BA from Slippery Rock University. She performed/toured with the modern dance company Tania Isaac Dance from 2006-2009. The company toured to Jacobs Pillow, Bates Dance Festival and many other venues. As a freelance choreographer, Tara has presented her work internationally throughout Spain, Guatemala, Italy, Greece, and Scotland where her work received critical acclaim. Nationally, she is an award winning choreographer, and over the years, has presented her work in many cities throughout the United States. She is currently on faculty at Millennium Dance Complex Philadelphia and DeSales University Dance Department.  She has been invited as a master teacher/choreographer to various venues including colleges, universities, dance camps, festivals, conventions, conservatories as well as many private studios along the east coast.
