Rudy Abreu

Rudy Abreu was one of the top 8 finalists of Season 11 of So You Think You Can Dance and has recently completed a 77-city tour with the show. Rudy was born and raised in Miami, FL and has been dancing since the age of 9. He trained under the direction of Manny and Lory Castro at Dancetown in Doral, FL. Before the show Rudy was assisting various choreographers such as Tom Richardson, Tokyo, Teddy Forance, Holly Robinson, Ade Obayomi, Swan Benoit Pouffer and several others. He also was the choreographer for the Move It With Mia tour in 2013 and represented the USA in the Global Meeting in Beijing, China. Rudy was a member of the Miami All-Stars who were a top 10 finalist on America’s Got Talent as well as being a member of Dancetown Chaos who placed in the top 6 on Paula Abdul’s Live to Dance. He has been the recipient of several regional and national dance awards including Intrigue’s Creativity in Motion, Young Choreographer’s Award, . Rudy currently lives in Los Angeles where he is continuing his pursuit of his dancing career.
