Jonathan Freeland is a New York based performing artist and instructor. For the past 9 months, he has been a Jet/Shark Swing on the ’13-’14 National Tour of WEST SIDE STORY performing throughout the U.S. and Canada. He attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA and graduated with a degree in Musical Theatre and a minor in Dance. Through his time at Point Park, Jonathan was seen throughout Pittsburgh in shows including A CHORUS LINE (Mark), THE PRODUCERS (Scott), THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, and the World Premiere of M33 (Banty Banks) at the Pittsburgh Playhouse and CATS (Pouncival/Mistoffelees) with Pittsburgh Musical Theatre. His classes focus not just on technical precision, but more so on the connection of the story the dancer is conveying.
